How to Use This Predictor
Step 1: Input Data
Fill in all clinical variables and protein expression levels in the left panel. Ensure all values are accurate and up-to-date.
Step 2: Set Time Horizon
Choose the prediction timeframe (1-10 years) based on your clinical needs. The default is 5 years.
Step 3: Calculate Risk
Click 'Calculate Risk' to generate predictions. Review all results in the Risk Assessment tab.
Interpretation Guide
- Protein Risk Score: Derived from the 12-protein machine learning model. Higher scores indicate higher protein-based risk.
- Total Risk Points: Combined score from all clinical and protein variables based on the Cox model.
- Risk Probability: Probability of macrovascular complications at the specified time horizon.
- Survival Curve: Visual representation of survival probability over time.
- Variable Contribution: Shows how each factor contributes to the total risk score.
Clinical Notes
- This tool is intended to support clinical decision-making, not replace it
- All protein expression values should be normalized before input
- Results should be interpreted in the context of complete clinical assessment
